Who’s up for a game of Baseball? 1968 is known in baseball history as “the year of the pitcher.” And that’s just who you’re up against in this pitch & bat pinball! The modern era of pinballs basically all follow the same format: pull the plunger, then release and your ball shoots up the right side and into play. CSI, Monopoly, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Starship Troopers.Īlso, there are options like rentals and clubs but I haven't used them so I dunno what the cost is like.Description Ball Park Pinball Machine for Sale Pitch & Bat Style Gameplay There's some Sterns that aren't too crazy from the late 90s/early 00s. You probably aren't going to get a B or C list Bally/Williams under 4k anymore, but you can keep an eye out for games like Popeye and Congo. You can grab certain Gottleibs cheaper, but even those are creeping into the 3k range. Something late 70s early 80s, but it's not going to have a deep ruleset.īut if you're looking for anything from the DMD Era onwards, prices are pretty absurd these days. You could probably get a late EM early solid state game that would be enjoyable under 2k if you stay away from the sought-after Williams/Bally stuff like Funhouse, Elvira, etc. If you like electromechanical games, they're the most affordable, and aside from some collectible outliers, you can get them under 1k. Check out some videos and feel free to ask me any questions about the game, rules, etc.ĭepends on what you mean by affordable and what you think is fun. The goal is defended by a motorized goalie that will block your shots which is pretty fun, there's also a big spinning soccer ball on the playfield.Īnyway, it's on the friendlier side of pinballs so I think some of the hardcore people may overlook it as they want something that's a harder challenge but it's a fun game and gets people hyped up. If you get to the final a 2nd time (which is pretty hard) then you'll need more goals to win again. This is the bigger of the two wizard modes, you have a timed 5-ball multiball where you try to score more goals than Germany, usually 4-5 will win. The other is to travel through 9 cities to play against Germany in the World Cup Final. Each team you defeat lets you play a higher ranked team until you defeat the #1 team. One is to move up in the rankings by beating teams in multiball. I think the reason it's pretty inexpensive is that it doesn't really have a hard wizard mode to try to get to. We have Attack From Mars, Twilight Zone, White Water, and World Cup Soccer and when guests come over they usually gravitate to WCS the most - the announcer gets you hyped up and even a beginner can have fun scoring goals without needing to know the full rules. I suggest World Cup Soccer, it's a really fun game and not that expensive compared to most.
